Ten by Ten won the Platinum Award at the Muse Design Award 2023

“Future Diagnostic Lab” is a space for future medical diagnosis based on artificial intelligence, new media art and medical imaging science. With the design principle of “Future is Now”, we convince the audience with a simulated future medical scenario which is inspiring and easily get involved.

Visitors can select one of the electronic medical cases by identifying the inductive RFID crystal module on the operating table, and participate in this “serious game” by role playing. In the virtual CT room, the equipment starts scanning the lesion and generating a 3D model in real-time. The data is sent to the big data computing center. Its medical decision model is established based on deep learning. By just one click, a medical diagnosis report is generated including a variety of treatment options, which can reduces medical treatment incidents, enables accurate and efficient medical decision-making.

What makes this piece unique is that it allows visitors to intuitively experience the one-stop diagnosis service of the future AI diagnostic system through data visualization. The work offers better medical experience, provides solutions to the current problem of unbalanced medical resources and the intensification of the doctor-patient tensions, and benefits the public with cutting-edge medical resources and services.
